Welcome all back to cricket city's blog page... as you can tell, we've gotten fairly quiet in our doings and goings on on the blog page, but after a successful first semester, we're looking to build on it and make a new semester even better. We've brought on new faces to the troupe, and we're happy to announce them to the world:
Welcome our New Crickets:
Kasey Thompson
Morgan Garrett
Chasity Gibson
Miranda Henslee
Joanna Firth
Cody Blan
Jay Jaska
Renee Caldwell
Audrey Anderson
Some of our newest troupe members who will - hopefully - be posting on here as well. I'm trying to get all of us crickets to post and go viral with our ideas and feelings or whatever... so there ya go. We'll see how all that turns out, and we'll keep you guys posted and let you know.
In other news, Cricket City has a show coming up! Or two, possibly but one for sure March 31st. This will be taking place in the Club at the Sam Rayburn Student Center on TAMU-Commerce's Campus. We're hoping you guys can make it out and see what we can do. Hope you guys enjoy and we're looking forward to each and everyone of you attending and having a blast.
Until next time, Here's a video I found on youtube I thoroughly enjoyed:
Ah, Genius.... David after dentist is always funny.

Cricket City's Zombie Movie and Halloween Show
Hey everyone, Jacob, AKA Mancub - that'll be my blog name from here on out- here to fill you in on the latest goings on in Cricket City.
So much work was put in by all our members, and the hours spent splicing and editing the video was more than worth it. Here it is: Cricket's Zombie Movie!
So That being said, we're very happy with how everything turned out. We had our Halloween show yesterday the 30th, and it was a pretty big hit for everybody.
Lord knows I had a blast, and I'd like to think the audience did as well. Overall, video and show were a great success, and we're looking forward to putting more stuff on video, and geting it out to the masses.
Hope you guys keep checking in, I'll keep posting, and I'll get the other Crickets involved very soon.
Thanks for your support,
ManCub

Cricket City's First Improv Blog!
Well, as Cricket City grows, so must our outreach. I am Jacob Layton, unofficial grand poobah of all things internet related within cricket city. I basically took the spot :)
Anyway, we're here to give you a little bit of insight on us and what it is we do.
We're here to make you laugh, following the veins of great improvisational artists like Second City, Whose Line, and others.
we make it our goal to get your laughter going, and that you enjoy every second of everything we do.
Hope you enjoy the posts to come.
Thanks,
Jacob
